By it’s true love…
I don’t like using the word “love” so much because it’s so ubiquitous in our society. It’s used like a synonym for “fascinating”, “romantic”, “lovable”, “affectionate” and “harmonious”, but those are all subjective adjectives. I prefer to use it as a noun. As in “you’re like, my girlfriend”.
So what does it mean to be like you re sweet to me? It means that I like you to a certain extent and that I want to spend as much time with you as possible. I am not talking about sexually, but rather the more intangible things that make you both a loving partner and a close friend. The fact that you are willing to go out of your way to help me with a project I’m working on is really special – I can’t thank you enough.
