The idea that these animals only originated in Europe and Asia is just that, an idea. There are no wild dogs in Africa.
This theory, however, is still popular. So it’s good to know that the devs of jungle wolf are trying to do some research on the matter. And what they’ve found is that the idea of a pre-historic wolf that existed in Europe/Africa has been disproved.
