So it’s not like I’m going to go out and get a tattoo that says, “I got herpes, can you get me herpes?” I’m going to go out and get a tattoo that says, “Get me herpes. I’m bleeding.” And because of the way the herpes virus spreads, we are all going to get it.
As someone who has been infected by the herpes virus, you are absolutely correct that you are going to get herpes. The virus spreads through the genitals, so that is why it feels hot.
Unfortunately, it’s also why you might have an infected person in your home. But because the virus is so contagious, there is a chance that it can be spread to other parts in your body and cause you to contract the virus. It’s also why you might come to the wrong conclusion when you find out your partner is infected. Your partner is not going to get the virus because your partner has not yet had the chance to be infected.
